A lot of males spouses ask themselves every year “Why I just got to buy her something for Valentine’s Day and she don’t got to buy me nothing?” Some believe that Valentine’s Day is originally created for the males to show their spouse some love, affection, and how much they appreciate them. When in reality it was created for both spouses to show some form of appreciation towards each other.
Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day 02/07/2012
HIV/AIDS is a huge problem and, sadly, African American women make up the majority of cases. In 2009 57% of new infections in the US were black women, which means that HIV/AIDS in the black community is a big thing. Women of color have high rates of some STIs. Having an STI can make a person more susceptible to HIV. I feel that all people should get tested for STI/STDs often, regardless of ethnicity, because all people are at risk.

I made new lyrics to the song and everything and I sung them when all the other females where singing the original version. In addition, I refused to dance with anybody while this song was playing. Why is that when dudes talk to a lot of females and have sexual relations with them, they are awarded? They are often complimented because of their actions and people go on as if there’s nothing wrong with it. On the other hand when a female does that same exact thing, she is called all kinds of negative names. It could be because at a young age a lot of boys were seeing their older role models with different females. Confidence is the longer end of the stick, some think that confidence means conceited. Those who get that impression of how you carry yourself are haters or want that too. To be well accomplished and have your priorities straight is something to be proud of. Educated, well represented, your able to back up yourself & everything your about. To be goal orientated and a people pleaser is what people long for. Some people have it and some don't, some people want it and others own it. It’s a characteristic that many carry! Sometimes when you’re in the moment of a heated argument or dispute, you don’t really think about what you’re saying or how the other person is feeling while you’re saying how you feel. Recently, in Bowie, Maryland at Bowie State University, a young lady was stabbed and killed by her fellow roommate. According to myfoxdc.com, the dispute was over the volume of the victim’s music. Supposedly her roommate came into the room and turned her music off and left, but the victim turned the music back on, not knowing that cutting it back on would take her life. The girl came back to the room and started fighting the victim, and grabbed a pair of scissors and stabbed her in the neck. Forty-Five minutes later the life of the victim had been gone.
