Hi my name is Calvin. I am 17 years old and I’ve been with Youth Radio since since September 2010. What I like most about BOM is being able to express my opinions on relationships and sometimes give some advice. I think that learning how to help other people be better in relationships will make me better too. Being the boss of me means that I am in control of myself.

I am 17 years old and my name is Lucia. The BOM411 campaign that has taken a combination of so many teenagers from different backgrounds to finally create is one of great importance. To me BOM411 is finally an opportunity for youth to rise letting everyone realize that domestic abuse is not the only abuse out there; Teen dating violence is far too common and is not acceptable. The campaign is working on primary prevention—preventing the issue before it begins and it is setting the frame work for teenagers and adults alike to understand what a positive relationship actually is.

BOM is important to me because it gives help and answers to questions that everyone has.
