is all too common, and ends up leading to vicious and unhealthy cycles for
years to come. Our responsibility - as parents, teachers, mentors, and
community leaders - is to guide our young people towards respectful
relationships free from harassment and abuse; teach them that it's ok to
walk away from a bad situation; and encourage them to speak out when they
see a friend in trouble. In many communities, teens themselves are leading
the way in organizing their schools and communities to stand against
violence. I commend them."

As a BOM ambassador, I have to say that I am really appreciative that are work is being noticed by not only teens but adults as well. Not just any adults but mainly Vice President Biden of the United Sates! He recognizes that us teens are trying to help our peers with Teen Dating Violence Prevention.
On 1/28/10, the US Senate unanimously passed Senate Resolution 373 to declare February TDV awareness month.
As a young woman, I am always hearing how I don’t know what I am talking about and how I don’t have enough education to educate someone else. Everyone, especially teens, should know that if you have lived through something, that’s all the education you need.
As Vice President Biden said, “I commend them” we commend you as well. Not many adults actually admit or give credit to us teens who actually try to make a difference in our peers life by steering them the right way. So join our conversation and keep showing these adults that we care!!!!!!!!!!!!
