The correct way to approach a person is to show respect. Respect is especially important when making connections or relationships between men and women. The elderly model great character and teach the youth that an amazing personality, respect, and coming correct is the best way to approach someone for the first time.
The correct way to approach a person is to show respect. Respect is especially important when making connections or relationships between men and women. The elderly model great character and teach the youth that an amazing personality, respect, and coming correct is the best way to approach someone for the first time.
I experience some unpleasant collisions with people, mostly women because of lack of connection. I was real young, and I made some mistakes. One day my friends and I was at the mall. I seen this beautiful young lady and I liked her, it was on some first site, starstruck type stuff; you know. So I tried to use one of those movie lines to get her, I was young and I didn’t really know no better. I said “ You look like a big chocolate shake and I’m straight-up thirsty.” When that left my mouth, I got her attention alright. Her whole demeanor changed in a split second and she seemed to like me, and I was feeling her too. Then she shamed me, yeah she acted like she was feeling me. She start just going ham! “Who you talkin' to, see I’m not no h**", and this-this and that. My mind I came up to her with respect, and just trying to make her laugh. She must have misunderstood my approach, because she blew everything out of proportion.
She start spazzing out! It was funny because I really thought that was the right way to approach somebody. So after that tear-off that lady gave me, I NEVER TRIED TO PULL STUFF LIKE THAT AGAIN; Reality check.
Never take something off of a movie and try it at home, it most likely won't work. I'll never say something stupid like that to NOBODY again. Do I believe the way I approached that girl was a good look? At that time yes I did, but being the person I am now and thinking back on that incident, that was very child-like of me. I knew it was just a movie line, but it was so convincing that I had to try it. I know next time I have to be respectful and come correct.
