Koalas. Aren’t they cute? Here’s some facts about koalas. They are only found in Australia. They live up to 17 years, but males typically live for about 10 years due to fights and injuries. And about 80% of Koalas have chlamydia.

Yes, koalas have chlamydia. It’s hard to believe, but cute things can have have STDs and STIs. I mean just because a girl is cute doesn’t mean she won’t have chlamydia. It’s funny to think that animals have sex and are getting infected. But no matter what you are, if you have sex, you are at risk of contracting a STD, especially when you are with more than one sex partner.

There are some people who are life partners, but it seems so rare these days. There’s so much cheating, deceiving and overall wanting to just explore and have fun, that us humans are not considered life mates. But life mates or not, we do have relationships to try and find ‘the one’.

Although animals can communicate, we have the privilege of being able to talk. To ask about the past, talk about the future, overall to have a healthy relationship. Yet, we don’t seem to take advantage of that, we tend to think with our hearts and not our brains. We feel the need to prove our love, so for some people that means having sex with people who might not become a significant other.

Is this why there is so much people with STDs and STIs? Maybe what we need is more sex education. The problem with sex ed is some think it just creates curiosity. In my opinion, it’s better to know where the sex education is coming from. I would like to think that teachers have more information then friends.

Just remember to have safe sex and a healthy relationship.
