So Alicia Keys released her CD “Girl On Fire” and there’s ONE song I like on the CD, “When Its All Over.” I like the song mainly because of the beat, and also the meaning. She is basically saying when the world is over at least she’s got to love and care for that person.
"When they lay me down/Put my soul to rest/When they ask me how I spent my life At least I got to love you When it's all over When it's all said and done."

On Tuesday, Caroline Miller, along with Youth Radio and other Youth Relationship Alliance partners, proclaimed February as Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month. The proclamation took place at the Alameda County Board of Supervisors meeting. Though the meeting was relatively small, the events that took place were monumental for teens and adults.

I’ve been in a relationship for almost three years, but earlier this year it ended, and I’m still hurt. I try to play it off and say things like, “I’m okay,” “I don’t need him,” and “I’ma make it.” And I AM gonna make it but I’m not okay; I’m so heart broken.

According to CNN, a company that reports U.S as well as world news, a story about Chris Brown renewing his friendship with Rihanna is considered to be and can be found under the category of “breaking news.”
Meanwhile, in Oakland, 7 people are killed within the first week of October. And what’s most unsettling about this is that most of the victims’ stories were not even reported on the local ABC 7 news report. Looking at stories being reported about everything from Chris Brown to Kardashians, while other more serious topics get little to no attention made me ask this question: Should news companies be taken seriously?

Cheating is a very questionable and confusing topic. Just about everybody has their own meaning of cheating. Some people think doing small things with someone other than your partner isn't cheating, while others may say doing big things with someone other than your partner is cheating. I also have my own concept of what cheating is. I think cheating is basically doing almost anything you have to hide from your partner or wouldn’t do in front of your partner.

There are a lot of different aspects to a relationship and key things are needed to make a healthy one. Most people want a loving relationship to feel loved so they can give it back.
However, just like life... relationships are COMPLICATED and there are things people don't always take into consideration. In my opinion, there are 4 main things that are need in a relationship which are: communication, balance, commitment and trust. I believe when any one of these are missing it becomes a lot harder to have the solid, good, healthy relationship you are looking for.

When I was little technology and social network didn't exist like they do now. It wasn't a way to update a status and put someone's business out there. You know, “put them on blast” meaning you expose something confidential, or secretive about somebody you wouldn’t normally say. It wasn’t until I got in the 7th grade and MySpace became a popular social site, that's when people began putting themselves on blast, or in other words putting themselves out!

In this society, it seems like music has changed the mindset of our young generation. Men and Women had more regard for each other, and music had more meaning! Now and days the younger generation is use to saying “I don't need no n**** “ or “ b******* ain't s***”. When we think of the music me and my peers listen to now, we wonder where did these ideals of negativity between men & women, and young relationships come from? As we review some of the music from artist the younger generation listen to, it doesn't always make sense.
I know at least half of the people reading this has had a best friend. A friend you’ve known since middle school and have been close with all the way up to high school, and feelings start to creep into your mind. You don’t know what to do, but you do know this could ruin your friendship with this person. At the same time, you could tell this person what you feel since you’ve known each other for so long! Which may have been most of your life.
How do you deal with this dilemma?

Relationships are one of the best things we are lucky to have, but some people, especially many youngsters nowadays, let relationships dominate their lives. For example, day-to-day many kids around the world spend countless hours on Twitter and Facebook talking about relationships. It's sad to me people get more likes on facebook for status’ like “lms...if you a virgin” as opposed to posting status’ like, “Today is a good day...everyone stay blessed”. I know this is because I witness it all the time and I see it mostly happen with today’s youth which is really bad. After all, the youth is the future.
